Role & Responsibilities

SUMMARY:  

Drive consumer loyalty by providing a fun, clean and high energy environment to all of our guests.  Provide world class customer service in all aspects of this job while showcasing and living our 3 part mission on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Welcome all customers in a fun & warmly manner and ensure that all guests have an experience of creating their very own ice cream euphoric experience in B&J style.

·        Accomplish the on-line duties of the scoop shop operations.

·        Accomplish the work activities needed to maintain and service the facility.

·        Participate in the orientation and training of newer scoop shop staff and in general store operations.

·        Maintain the daily operations of store & staff appearance, proper cash handling procedures, customer service, cleanliness, compliance with all safety and operating standards, merchandising and production of waffle cones, novelties, and baked goods.

·        Ensure that all opening and closing procedures are followed and executed in a timely manner.

·        Participate in the daily tracking of the store scooping performance and ensure that the scooping percentage is within the stores posted target. 

·        Ensure the accuracy of daily cash transactions with customers, understand store cash policies and procedures.

·        Assist as requested by the management team in the implementation of the store -marketing plan with an emphasis on marketing the store in the local community through innovative donations, catering, off premise opportunities, and special event programs.

·        Actively support company safety goals by displaying consistent safe work behaviors.

·        Assist the Store Manager as assigned with the ordering, receiving, storage, and logging of all inventory items. Ensure all invoices as assigned are checked and discrepancies brought to the Retail Store Manager’s attention.

·        Assist in the coordination and staffing of off-premise special events.  This will require flexibility in terms of transport and timings, but additional travel expenses will be covered by the business

·        Participate in frequent store planning meetings with the team to be informed about the objectives of the Brand. 

Additional Information:

·        Physical aspects of the job include: oversize merchandise handling, bulk containers of ice cream, supply orders, general cleaning and maintenance and standing for long periods of time
