Ben & Jerry's Homemade Inc., started in 1978 in a renovated gas station in Burlington, Vermont, USA, founded by childhood friends and dedicated activists Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield. In 2000 Ben & Jerry’s became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Unilever while maintaining an independent Board of Directors to provide leadership focused on preserving and expanding Ben & Jerry's social mission, brand integrity, and product quality. Role & Responsibilities
SUMMARY:
Drive consumer loyalty by providing a fun, clean and high energy environment to all of our guests while supporting & supervising the daily operations of a Ben and Jerry’s owned scoop shop and staff. Continually striving to provide world class customer service in all aspects of this job while showcasing and living our 3 part mission on a daily basis while ensuring that all guests leave with a euphoric experience and stronger bond to the brand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support the Store Manager in all areas of the business, as guided below
· Supervise Shift Managers and/ or team members in the successful operation of the Brand Hub
· Support Store Manager in managing and developing the catering and off premise business including cakes and delivery
· Support in the development of fulltime Scoop Shop staff to maximize performance and development through the use of Performance Development Plan (PDP) process and ongoing coaching and development
· Identify and resolve problems from customers and staff members that affect Brand Hub operations
· Support with the scheduling of all store staff and events
· Support with the overall store operations including appearance, cleanliness, and compliance with safety and operating standards, and merchandising and display execution
· Support with the hiring and manage store staff ranging from 5-20 employees
· Support with developing and managing the training and orientation of all employees with a strong emphasis on providing excellent customer service
· Support with daily financial operations to include cash management, bank procedures, ordering, inventory, register accuracy, preparation of sales and inventory reports and analyses to enhance business operations
· Accountable for maintaining the accuracy of daily cashing in and out of all registers and cashiers, sales to cash reconciliation, and daily sales summary reports for their shift
· Support Retail Operations training needs
· Actively support company safety goals by ensuring consistent safe work behaviors

· Physical aspects of the job include: oversize merchandise handling, bulk containers of ice cream, supply orders, general cleaning and maintenance and standing for long periods of time
