Position Overview:

As a General Manager, you will lead all aspects of store operations. This role is crucial in maintaining high-quality customer service, ensuring operational efficiency, and promoting professional growth within the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Manage daily operations, including interviewing, hiring, and scheduling staff. Efficiently address real-time challenges such as no-shows or staff shortages and troubleshoot POS and facility issues to enhance customer satisfaction and operational flow.
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee the store’s profit & loss statements, focusing on minimizing costs of goods sold and labor, while maximizing sales.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and mentor the store team in a supportive, dynamic environment that promotes high morale and professional growth.
Leadership Focus:
  • People Leadership: Inspire and lead a team to operational excellence by adhering to Jersey Mike’s high standards and processes. Develop leadership qualities within the team to help them reach their full potential.
  • Training and Development: Conduct comprehensive training programs that not only adhere to Jersey Mike's operational standards but also enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
  • Crisis Management: Effectively handle unexpected operational issues such as equipment failures or staffing emergencies, ensuring minimal impact on service quality.
Qualifications:
  • Experience Required: At least 3 years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in the QSR sector with a stable job history.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to foster a team-focused environment and drive store success.
  • Financial Proficiency: Strong understanding of store economics, including Cost of Goods Sold, Hourly Labor, and sales.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communicator with a clear, persuasive style, capable of leading a diverse team.

  • Salary: $58,000.00 per year, plus performance-based bonuses. Our successful managers earn high five figures, all in.  
  • Benefits: Health insurance
  • Experience Level: 3+ years (Assistant General Manager or General Manager in a QSR)
  • Restaurant Type: Quick Service & Fast Food Restaurant
  • Shifts: Opening shift, Closing shift,  Mid shift , and weekends.  
  • Work Week: Monday to Sunday with 2 days off during the week. Open and closing shifts coverage is required to develop and retain a solid team. 45 hours per week.
  • Work Location: In person
