Since opening our doors in 2016 in London Piccadilly, we've been on a mission to bring the art of artisanal baking to the heart of the UK. Now, with 26 successful bakeries and counting, we're looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help us continue spreading the joy of fresh, handcrafted baked goods.

Each and every one of our products is lovingly crafted by our skilled bakers, who put their heart and soul into creating the perfect loaf or heavenly flaky Danish pastry. But Ole & Steen is more than that still. We’re a team and we are looking for Team Leaders to join us in a variety of stores across London.
The Role
As a Team Leader at Ole & Steen you are responsible for supporting the General Manager and leading a shift. You will live and breathe our brand personality of being Real | Thoughtful | Devoted and Captivating to deliver great service, at speed to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
You’ll have a passion for great customer service, for people, coffee, food and hospitality and be excited to join us on our mission to be the “World’s most love bakery”.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring the store meets and exceeds our brand standards, food safety audits, health and safety, KPI’s and guest experience.
A day in a life
Providing exceptional customer service for our guests and ensuring the team are deployed in the most effective way to achieve this.
Act as a role model for teams and an ambassador for Ole and Steen, reflecting our brand personality with a positive attitude and excellent standards at all times.
Assist in the training and support of (new) team members including ongoing coaching and feedback.
Know your daily targets and have fun in finding ways to beat them.
Run effective shifts that contributes to the overall P&L.
Open /close the store in line with company standards, including cleaning and maintaining brand standards.
What we are looking for:
You are friendly and welcoming with an ability to make our guests feel at home in your store. You will lead from the front and inspire your teams to always provide a similarly high level of experience.
